Restack Assists Insurance Company With Cloud Migration and Implementation Services
The Challenge
Momentum Multiply required assistance with their Cloud and Application Modernisation Roadmap, focusing on implementing cloud technologies for Cloud Migration and Implementation Services. Their goal was to enhance their cloud infrastructure through multi-cloud-native and hybrid cloud architectures.
The Solution
We guided Momentum Multiply through a comprehensive Cloud Strategy phase. This initial step involved evaluating the client’s cloud readiness, aligning with our business strategy, and recommending an IT strategic direction. We meticulously planned capabilities across personnel, technology, processes, data governance, and change enablement strategies. Additionally, we crafted a business case tailored for non-technical executives, detailing the What, Why, ROI, Benefits, Risks, and the implementation effort.
Following the strategic groundwork, we entered the Architecture phase. Here, we defined the baseline, target, and transitional architectures. This phase included developing a backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy, forming a detailed migration plan, and finalising Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculations. More importantly, the migration plan featured a transitional architecture phase, facilitating communication between legacy systems and cloud platforms through a hybrid deployment architecture.
In the Implementation phase, our engineering team established the target cloud landing zone using infrastructure-as-code and DevOps pipelines. They managed the migration of applications and databases to AWS while configuring cloud-native tools. Our efforts in creating Disaster Recovery strategies during this phase significantly enhanced the client’s system reliability and efficiency.
The Benefits
Today, the company’s transformation benefits greatly from our comprehensive approach across the aforementioned phases, which was crucial in transforming Momentum Multiply’s cloud infrastructure. This transformation highlights our deep expertise and steadfast dedication to delivering value and innovation in cloud migration and implementation services. We remain committed to providing managed cloud services through continuous efforts, including ongoing monitoring and support for cloud workloads, ensuring operational excellence and the sustainability of our cloud infrastructure.
